Have you taken Vytorin or Zetia anytime after April 1, 2006?

You may be eligible to join a class action lawsuit. Click here for a flyer.

Vytorin and Zetia are prescription drugs taken for high cholesterol. A national class action lawsuit claims that drug companies Merck and Shering-Plough deceptively advertised the drugs Vytorin and Zetia as being better than older drugs at reducing arterial plaque by lowering LDL cholesterol. These drug makers hid a study for 20 months that showed that Vytorin and Zetia offered no improvement over older, less expensive drugs, while racking up $3.88 billion in sales in 2006.

This lawsuit seeks to recover money that consumers and health plans paid for these drugs.

Have you taken Actimmune anytime after May 4, 1998?

You may be eligible to join a class action lawsuit. Click here for a flyer.

Actimmune is a drug made by Genentech and marketed by Intermune. It is only approved by the FDA to treat two very rare conditions, but is widely prescribed to treat Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). A national class action lawsuit claims that Genentech and Intermune illegally promoted Actimmune as an “off-label” treatment for IPF (one that has not been approved by the FDA as safe and effective). The lawsuit alleges that these companies preyed upon the hopes of desperate patients and their doctors, despite a lack of evidence that the drug was effective for IPF.

This lawsuit seeks to recover money that consumers and health plans paid for Actimmune.
