This program is now accepting applications. It is open to all Tennesseans who do not have prescription drug coverage. It will have from $3 to $15 co-pay for a 90 day supply, provide most diabetic medication and supplies, and provide some mental health medications. Most of the medications are generic, but there are some brand names. It is worth checking out. CoverRx is not a solution. It program is only filling in one hole in our health care systemg. We have a national and state problem in providing affordalbe health care to citizens. In America, over 47 million citizens are left with nothing. This is a poor substitute for health insurance coverage, but for many this may be important. We would advise a person seeking coverage to also check out Target and WalMart's drug program. It is not as large as this one offered by the state. See the state's Drug List below. CoverRx Application (English) (PDF) CoverRx Application (Spanish) (PDF)
